Terms of Service

Effective 12 June 2026 · These terms govern every Tax Pilot account.

1. Who we are

Tax Pilot ("Tax Pilot Pakistan", "we", "us") provides practice management software for tax consultants, tax lawyers, chartered accountants and customs consultants, available at taxpilot.com.pk and through our applications (the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service you agree to these terms on behalf of yourself and, where applicable, the firm you represent.

2. Your account and your firm

  • You must provide accurate registration details and keep your sign-in credentials confidential. You are responsible for all activity under your account.
  • A firm's Owner account controls the firm's workspace, team access, public profile and subscription, and may add or remove team members.
  • You must be legally capable of entering a contract and authorised to act for the firm you register.

3. Your data belongs to you

All client records, documents, cases and other content your firm enters into the Service ("Firm Data") remain your property. We process Firm Data only to provide the Service. You can export your Firm Data at any time from Branding & Settings, and you may delete your account whenever you choose.

4. Acceptable use

  • Use the Service only for lawful professional practice. Do not upload unlawful content, attempt to breach security, access other firms' data, or misuse the platform's messaging or directory.
  • Public profile information you publish in the Find-a-Firm directory must be truthful and relate to your own firm.
  • The "Verified" badge is granted at Tax Pilot's discretion after review and may be withdrawn if information proves inaccurate.

5. Subscriptions and trials

  • New firms receive a 14-day free trial with full features. No payment details are required for the trial.
  • Paid plans are billed in Pakistani Rupees on a monthly or annual cycle as shown on the Pricing page. Prices may change with at least 30 days' notice; changes never apply retroactively to an already-paid period.
  • You may cancel at any time from your dashboard; access continues until the end of the paid period. See the Refund Policy.

6. The Service is a tool — not advice

Tax Pilot is practice management software. It does not provide tax, legal or accounting advice, does not file returns with any authority, and its calculators and templates are aids that require professional review. Responsibility for filings, advice and compliance remains entirely with the practising professional.

7. Availability and changes

We aim for high availability but the Service is provided "as is" without warranty of uninterrupted operation. We may improve, add or retire features; if a change materially reduces core functionality you pay for, you may cancel and receive a pro-rata refund of the unused period.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim arising from the Service is limited to the amount your firm paid us in the twelve months before the claim. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for loss arising from professional decisions made using the Service.

9. Termination

You may close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that materially breach these terms, with notice where practicable. After termination, Firm Data remains exportable for 60 days, after which it is deleted from our systems.
